Here’s what you should know about our coverage — and what you should ask other vendors about theirs

How does CertifID's policy with Lloyd's differ from other tech errors and omissions (E&O) policies?

 

Most Tech E&O policies only offer third-party coverage to customers. However, our Lloyd's policy provides direct coverage to the customer, which can reduce your risk as a closing agent. In the case of any monetary loss, the customer can file a claim directly with Lloyd's, ensuring a quicker reimbursement process.

If I file a claim with Lloyd’s, how long does it take?

 

If CertifID's technology verifies a party incorrectly, we have a three-step process in place:


1. Initiate Fraud Recovery Services
2. Activate Lloyd's claim
3. Activate Tech E&O

Our Fraud Recovery Services immediately verify with the Secret Service to determine if any funds are available for recovery. This process can take as little as a few hours or up to a few days to confirm. If we are unable to recover funds through Fraud Recovery Services, you have the option to file a claim to Lloyd's. We estimate payment from this claim within 30 days of receiving it.
